Follwoing a Madhab (Part 2)

More on Usul ul fiqh and following a madhab. I decided that my next couple of posts will be on following a madhab because a lot of people nowadays are so quick to say Abu Hanifa was wrong or "I'm not a Maliki, I'm Ahlul Sunnah" or "Don't follow an Imam that is taqleed/blind following." This is much needed, I seldom find the necessary verbal agility to explain myself to others on this topic without going in circles but the pertinence of the answering of this question is unfortunately very high in the modern Western Islamic milieu.
