Bismillahirahmaniraheem
I have not updated because of final papers mid-terms and final presentations so I apologize for that. Anyways, this is a continuation of the 1st word from Said Nursi's The Words from his master work The Risale-i Nur. The Flashes is another part of the Risale completely but he added "The Second Station of The Fourteenth Flash" after "The 1st Word" because it went together with it(subject wise). The Link to my post on "The 1st word" is here. The 1st word was on Bismillahirahmaniraheem and showing what a strength and source of bounty it is and how it is constantly recited by all things through the tongues of their beings. The Second Station of The Fourteenth Flash has to do with six of the thousands of mysterious of Bismillahirahmaniraheem. Each mystery is short but very hard to understand hence I will be giving you them in a series of posts and not just one, so you may reflect on them. This is only the first of the six mysterious. (1/6th of the "The Second Station of The Fourteenth Flash").

In The Words of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi

This, which has been included here because of its relevance, concerns six of the thousands of mysteries contained in In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
NOTE: A bright light from In the Name Of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate concerning Divine Mercy appeared to my dull mind from afar. I wanted to record it for myself in the form of notes, and to hunt it down and capture it, and circumscribe the light with twenty to thirty Mysteries. But unfortunately I was not able to do this at the present time and the twenty or thirty Mysteries were reduced to five or six.
When I say: "Oh, man!", I mean myself. And while this lesson is directed particularly to my own soul, I refer it as the Second Station of the Fourteenth Flash for the approval of my meticulous brothers in the hope that it may benefit those with whom I am connected spiritually and whose souls are more prudent than mine. This lesson looks to the heart more than the mind, and regards spiritual pleasure rather than rational proofs.
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
The Queen' said: "Ye chiefs! Here is —delivered to me— a letter worthy of respect. It is from Solomon, and is las follows]: 'In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
A number of mysteries will be mentioned in this Station.
FIRST MYSTERY
I saw one manifestation of In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate as follows:
On the face of the universe, the face of the earth, and the face of man are three Stamps of Dominicality one within the other and each showing samples of the others.
The First is the Great Stamp of Godhead, which is manifest through the mutual assistance, co-operation, and embracing and corresponding to one Imo la., of beings in the totality of the universe. This looks to In the Name of God
The Second is the Great Stamp of Divine Mercifulness, which is manifest through the mutual resemblance and proportion, order, harmony, favour and impassion in the disposal, raising and administration of plants and animals on the face of the earth. This looks to In the Name of God, the Merciful.
Then there is the Exalted Stamp of Divine Compassionateness, which is manifest through the subtleties of Divine beneficence, fine points of Divine clemency, and rays of Divine compassion on the face of man's comprehensive nature. This looks to The Compassionate in In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
That is to say, In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate is the sacred title of three Stamps of Divine Oneness, which form a luminous line on the page of the world, and a strong cord, and shining filament. That is, through being revealed from above, the tip of In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate rests on man, the fruit of the universe and miniature copy of the world. It binds the lower world to the Divine Throne. It is a way for man to ascend to the Divine Throne.

On the Election result and Tawakal.

Yes today I would like to take a break from giving you scholarly excerpts and give you a few of my words.

In The Words of The Ghazzali Blogger

I see tonight many Muslims very happy and chanting "Yes We Can." And it makes me angry! Eight years ago Muslims had the same stress filled election night hoping Bush would win because Gore had a Jewish Vice President. And when Bush was announced we all rejoiced. Now even with hindsight we do not see our mistake and we make the same mistake tonight. What is that mistake? We do not have Tawakal; Faith in Allah. Eight years ago we hoped Bush was to be president so that we would not be harmed, would have justice, and would not be persecuted against. Forgetting if Allah Willed us justice and safety, we would received them even if Gore was to pass away and Lieberman was to become President. But we did not have Tawakal and our own candidate passed one of the most injust laws ever to be passed in the modern world; the patriot act. Today we rejoice that McCain, who everyone says is the same person as Bush, did not win and that we brought a President of "Change." And again we forget change will not come unless Allah wills it. We should be humble and chant "No we cannot without Allah!!"

What each and everyone of you should do is say Alhamdulliah you recieved the candidate you wanted and pray that we gain justice and safety and that Allah (not Obama, not some democratic system, not the international hegemon) puts all our affairs into order for he is the best disposer of affairs. Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-wakeel
